ONLINE CLASSES

We recognize that many are suffering financially, and we want to support these students and serve the community. Payments for classes will be on a donation basis, with a suggested donation of $10 per class. These donations will be divided between the teacher of the class and the studio. You will be able to sign up for classes through our website. The regularly scheduled online classes will begin Tuesday, March 31.

In the interim, we are offering three FREE classes through Zoom.

FRI March 27 @ 10 – 11:30 am:  David – ALL LEVEL class

SAT March 28 @ 9 – 10:30 am:  David – INTRO class

SUN March 29 @ 10 am – Noon:  David – ALL LEVEL class

You are most welcome to take any or all of these classes. To make sure each student’s device is set up properly, PLEASE LOG IN INTO ANY CLASS 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE SCHEDULED STARTING TIME.

On Monday, we will begin a regular schedule of online classes taught by Natasha, Brooks, David, Jess, Nancy, Cheryl, Patrina, and Bob & Todd.

ONLINE CLASSES FAQ

What do I need for class?
We recommend that, before the class start time, you set up the environment in your home with an open space and, if possible, a mat. Wall space would be good. If you do not have a free wall, you can use a locked door. Do not worry if you don’t have a lot of props at home! Classes will be adjusted for minimal props. If you have a chair, yoga belt, block, or blankets, please have these available.

What software do you need?
Yoga Circle online classes will be taught through Zoom, a free video conferencing software which you can obtain by going to the Zoom website. Click here to install and test the Zoom application.

How do I register for a class?
You will register for class by clicking on a button in an email from the studio or on the website. You do not need a Zoom login to join the class. Once you register for a class, you should receive two automatic emails, one immediately and one right before the class time. There will be a link in the email that is specific to the class. At least 15 minutes before class, click the link to join the class.

Why is important to join the class 15 minutes before the start time?
Joining in advance will assure that you set up your device in the optimal way for the class. The time before class is a chance for the teacher to find out which props each student has; tips may also be given on the use of walls, doors, corners, kitchen counters, etc.

What is the cost for online classes?
The classes offered on March 27, 28, and 29 are free to all. Beginning on March 30, students will have the option of donating to support the teacher and the studio. We recommend a donation of $10 per class, but it is entirely up to you whether and how much to donate. If you prefer to donate with a check, please post to Yoga Circle and add teacher’s name in check memo. Existing class packages are not transferable as donations.

Will you have an online class schedule?
We will post an online schedule in the next few days. We will begin offering regularly scheduled online classes on Monday, March 30.
