Joan White Workshop ONLINE

Nov 13 – 15

Joan White is an Advanced Level CIYT who has been studying with the Iyengar family since 1973, including 36 trips to India. Under the Iyengars’ guidance, she has twice recovered from broken backs and other serious injuries sustained in horseback riding accidents. She has learned how to work with both injuries and aging.

Joan’s teaching is direct, succinct, and infused with great warmth, humor, and humanity. She greatly enjoys being with students of all levels and generously shares the knowledge of postures and pranayama from her 47 years of study with B.K.S, Geeta, Prashant, and Abhijata Iyengar.
