Cheryl Hurst brings a diverse background to teaching Yoga. She has a doctorate in clinical psychology and has specialized in Health Psychology for 19 years. Cheryl offers integrative yoga therapy and psychotherapy as a customized holistic service at her private practice in Chicago. She cultivates non-violence through her long-term practice of Aikido. Cheryl has lived with MS for more than 15 years and knows the power of yoga to facilitate healing from the inside out. At the Yoga Circle, Cheryl teaches Yoga for Neurological Conditions, and Golden Years Yoga, and she assists in other classes. Cheryl is deeply honored and inspired to have more than 2500 contact hours in ongoing intensive apprenticeship with Yoga Circle director and yoga therapeutics master Gabriel Halpern, named by Yoga Journal in the top “10 Most Influential Yoga Teachers in America.”
