Joan White Workshop

Joan White is an Advanced Level CIYT who has been studying with the Iyengar family since 1973, including 36 trips to India.   Under the Iyengars’ guidance, she has twice recovered from broken backs and other serious injuries sustained in horseback riding accidents.  She has learned how to work with both injuries and aging.

Joan’s teaching is direct, succinct, and infused with great warmth, humor, and humanity.   She enjoys being with students of all levels and generously shares the knowledge from her 48 years of study with B.K.S, Geeta, Prashant, and Abhijata Iyengar.

Classes will be offered online through Zoom and will be recorded.  Students will have access to the recording of any class/es for which they have registered for two weeks following the workshop.
