This 8-week series designed for adult students with lateral curvature(s) of the spine will address the special needs of students with scoliosis: elongation and de-rotation of the spine, inversions, and breathing. Classes will improve strength & stamina, reduce pain & discomfort, utilizing classic yoga poses adjusted for each specific curve pattern.
Nancy DL Heraty, C-IAYT, Yoga for Scoliosis and Yoga for Back Care specialist. She is a Certified Yoga Therapist with IAYT. She has co-authored the new book, “Yoga for Scoliosis, a Path for Teachers and Students” with Elise Browning Miller.
