About Gabriel

Gabriel Halpern holds a BA in Philosophy, an MA in Health Psychology, and is a full-time, certified instructor trained at the Iyengar Yoga Institutes in San Francisco and Pune, India. Gabriel has practiced since 1970 and gives workshops nationally. For the past nineteen years he has also been a core faculty member at De Paul University Theater School. Spring will find Gabriel and Margaret planting the flowrs and veggies in the garden, Tara (15) peforming In "Footloose" at her high school, and Kailey (13) starring on her 7th grade volleyball squad. Gabriel is celebrating 24 years in Chicago, where his field of dreams in the form of the Yoga Circle, marriage, children, and community has unfolded.
